Can’t advise you about Lahore specifically, but buying a smaller plot of your own and building yourself or buying a smaller unit as per your budget, is preferable compared to a shop in somebody else’s plaza. This is Pakistan and rules exist on papers but headaches with shared things like that are abundant.
