I have heard a lot about mc. Location is good, developers are honest and most competent as manifested by wining the award, proximity of mc to new air port which is likely to be inaugurated soon, mc main boulevard being developed as main commercial hub in the area, and the prices are registering an increase etc. Etc. I don’t have much insight into islamabad property. Can the experts please post their valuable comments and observations on the above and the likely future of mc and the price scenario in next 1-3 years. Thanks.

Mumtaz city prices have increased to the maximum possible price. They are so expensive now and you can buy in multiple societies the amount you pay for only 5 marla! Prices have increased daily, and gone to maximum unless possession is given. But there prices are so expensive they released new booking for 1 kanal and above and booking is still available, that's how expensive they are! Mc is more of long term now of mainly 3-5 years to see an absolute gold mine, fruitful investment as prices are only now likely to increase once they give possession and the society is fully built with full commercial hub, plus by then airport will be fully functional as well along with all the road access.
Prices may increase a little bit next year when airport cargo starts, but if possession is not given then what good is that? They have done quite a lot of development work there, so i don't see a problem to be honest. so in my opinion, if you was to buy now, keep it until they give possession and wait until society is fully built in about 4-5 years - then you will see good profit!
@ samra - where is mumtaz colony? Is it in islamabad because i its first time i have heard of this society? Probably a very small name brand hence i have not heard of it.
Maybe some other experts who have more knowledge of this society can shed some light on this topic!
Agree with mr abdul ali Prices of mumtaz city r too high kanal is around 46 to 48 lac still no services there. New booking were much expensive for kanal mumtaz city booked plot in 72 lac. After airport it will increase but right now prices are already high according to current market.
It means that mc is not recommended for short term investment.
Top city prices are half than mumtaz city to run top city. Its same project wid 2 diferent name. Its same case like park enclave vs bahria enclave....Lolz I will recommend pechs which is cooperative society. Pechs is not a priavate society and its safe and sound investment next to airport gate.

Top city and mumtaz city are two different projects. Pechs is just selling there plots in the name of cooperative and airport gate . Even the management of pechs does not know about the meaning of cooperative.
For a reasonable price I would recommend top city-1. Its half the price of mumtaz city. But im unsure of who the developers of top city are which places doubts on the quality of finish!

Well you never heard of this society as they never marketed their project, (din't need to do that) they only had 927 plots earlier. They just advertised for the first time last month when they organized a function on site, where they started the booking on some residential plots on the land of high rise buildings which Airport Authorities/CAA din't allowed them. The adds were on banners on Kashmir Highway. Secondly, They are not two names of a single society, they were under Dynast associates way back in 2005 but later they parted ways, they are two different societies and different people are managing the both projects. Another thing on possession, they are giving possession soon after this Eid Ul Fitar and will provide all the services whoever wants to start construction. It is a very good and nice opportunity, keeping in view that the Airport will be functional very soon, even if it dosen't the remaining patch of Kashmir Highway which will pass through the Top City and Mumtaz City will be starting very soon hopefully in August 2013 by N.H.A, so it is a very nice project.
