There is good news on margalla avenue expected in october. As frontier works organisation is involved in the project, things will speed up. Prices in multi schemes are stable and slowing going up and as soon as this is in the news, the prices will rise significantly.
For awt investors, its great news. All the hurdles in relation to interchange are now clear. The flyover will become operational on 20 september 2016. Airport will become operational in december 2016 and will raise prices further. Finally margalla avenue will connect to sanghani interchange which will be extremely helpful.

It is not clear from your post which senior mangement gave this info, despite no budget allocation for MA in CDA annual budget.No land acqusition and the case still in court with the last contractor.
So plz share concrete details dont start baseless rumours
@Ali1. I hope what you are saying proves correct. However, the situation on ground gives a mixed picture, which also needs to be kept in mind. Regarding Margalla Avenue, CDA finalized its budget for this year only 3 days ago and there is not even a single rupee allocated for this project in the current budget. Bringing in FWO, if correct, is not a small thing. It will send project costs soaring as FWO charges almost triple the going rate for construction when compared to any other contractor. From where, how and when will the cash strapped CDA manage such funds, is a big question. Nevertheless your information regarding extension of MA to link with motorway at sangjani is true.
The new airport opening as reported by secretary aviation to senate just two days ago is June 2017. So far the installation of aviation equipment has not started and they require minimum 4-5 months after installation for testing and commissioning.
Lastly, regarding AWT interchange, Yes AWT management has mobilized the contractor on site who has almost completed the remaining portion of the interchange located within AWT, but not the area beyond the NHA fence which is still in place. As someone rightly pointed out on this forum, as long as the motorway fence is intact, this development means very little. However, if NHA actually allows opening of fence to initiate linking work, that certainly will be a big development, no doubt.

Naeem sab you must hold your investment.Margalla Avenue is the big card for whole zone-2.Already CDA keep budget for this project so i am very hopeful it will complete in near future in shaa Allah.
