Ministry of Commerce Cooperative Housing Society (E-19)

I read some comments about M/o Commerce Cooperative Housing Society (E-19). Kindly share some ideas about its scope in future. Thanks in advance.

It is a dead society, better if you opt DHA valley or F-18 or Top City.

By the way where this E-19 located?

Its located right on Fateh Jang road opposite PECHS and near AWT. Its a low branded budget society that has huge scope comparing the location is similar to PECHS but really cheap, fraction of the price of PECHS.

The thing that put me off is the politics behind the scenes of development, similar to the way politics were involved in G-14 and Park Enclave. These types of societies that have politics involved, its best to avoid, as it can be costly and you can potentially lose money. There are other alternatives near that area such as AWT, Top City, Mumtaz City or even PECHS but non in the same budget as M of C as that is very cheap at the moment hence why its a potentially good investment.

MoC is getting attention of the investors due to its very low prices as having location similar to PECHS etc. Recently some development has also taken place, I mean pace has been increased a little bit. I have heard they are planning to give even possession in some parts/ blocks. Members who have recently visited the area/ society might be in a better position to shed some light on this. It is very long term investment. Like u purchase a plot and forget for ten years. Regards

Location of ministry of commerce is next to awt and far away from fateh jang road. Still very cheap as compare to awt but very slow development on ground and society has no good reputation. Only good for speculation not for long term

@Khan Sb,

Agreed..!!

I dont know from where the soceity is investing the whole money like the price tag is very low and the development going on in E-19 is quite reasonable to remarkable as i personally visited and was impressed..!!

So folks not a bad option

Cheers,

As per my knowledge, this society imposed development charges of around Rs 8 lakh per member recently. I visited the society a couple of weeks back. It appears the society has just woken up, may be to collect the dues from its members. Their access from AWT is not confirmed yet, and unless that happens, the location of the developed blocks will not be appealing. But I agree, that prices are quite cheap, so you can easily afford to buy for 10 years.

Dear IS-Base:

As Amjad Sb has posted, they have applied heavy development charges on members, so that could be the source for development work going on.

Regards

Amjad Sb and Khan Sb thnx for this update, i was unaware of this recent development charges.

Are these development charges surcharges, extra fees? As currently including the existing development fees it appears to be fairly cheap?

Yes these are additional development charges, over and above the price which you will pay for a file presently, which is I think around Rs 6 lakh per kanal, depending on block.

You are right Amjad Sb.
