I'm from lahore and want to buy a plot for my house in islamabad (i'm on rent in lhr). Was thinking to buy in bahria enclave but need suggestion from frnds / experts on this forum. Can any frnd guide for reasonable priced 10m / 1k plot on cash or on installment, please? A fellow from my office told to buy in marglla view society. Is it legal society or not? Any price idea plz?

Bahria Enclave is a nice option, still they got the NOC cancelled by CDA, prices are since rising because of good development by Bahria Town Management. But i don't think you will be able to start construction very soon, you can choose Bahria Town Phase 4,5,6, or 8 as you can start construction on a developed plot anytime. When we talk about Margalla View Housing Society, i guess it is D-17 near sangay mar dam in Zone 2, i won't recommend you that because i have heard many water related issues, it is developed to some extend but still can not compare Bahria's development or facilities. @Decent friend, On this forum and everywhere else you will find out that many would say …‘I think …’, ‘I heard …’,… But not the reality. It is always better to go to the location (if u want to invest a huge amount) and talk to local property dealers, then u can get the real picture. Rumors from someone who also listened from someone else is not correct, if and only if a person who is talking is living in that area or have been through the process. U better go and visit the area, talk to the residents there, and get the idea, rather the perceptions of the people who don’t know.

Check the location on Google Map, it is available.
It is around 8 Kms from Park Road.
Its distance id 22 Kms from Peshawar Moar Signals.
Old map is developed one and possession is available. Plots are on lumsum payment. Rates would be around 1.2 crore. Commercial plazas are under construction in Old Map area. School, hspital, Mosque are under construction in old map area. The Mall of Islamabad is under construction there. Around 50 houses are under construction. Multi story apartments are also under construction (6 floors already constructed). Price of 10 marla plots with possession in Old Map area starts from 65 lacs and goes upto 90 lacs depending on location.
Plots outside old map area are under development and on installments with different rates. For your home construction I would recommend u to go for plots in old map area,
