As per today’s dunya newspaper, PM Nawaz Shareef directed to eliminate housing socities within 5-KM premises of new Islamabad airport to make it secure. Another issue starts now

If yes then how will the investors be compensated?

Newspaper are full of news items about new airport.
For top city no need of roads , its a top city , so use top top tap tap horses or chair lifts from the top most top side of top city to the poor down the hill in the feet of top city the poor metropol of pindi saddar…HOPE i escape the barrage of angry posts.
Dear Readers! Again the same tactic; Nawaz Sharif released stunt of Rawat Airport which was only to oblige Bahria Town. When Bahria sucked public money during sept/oct/nov 2013. Nawaz Sharif’s intention is to suck more money from these H/Societies. Don’t worry nothing is going to happen against Top/Mum city Project.
Just a question. No offence intended. If Nawaz Sharif want to oblige Bahria Town, why Enclave is going in minus? Why NOC issue of Enclave for such a long time?
I think if Malik Riaz and Nawaz want to help each other, Bahria shouldn't be in such problems regarding Enclave 2/Extension.
Do you think there is really a competition of Bahria Town VS Top City/Mumtaz City/PECHS.

Sir Top/Mumtaz has no competition with Bahria but imagine if Main road to Airport is passing thru Top city & Airport is fully functional.Then how much value of Top City will be? In this case investment will be shifted from zone 5 to this area, at least for 2/3 yrs. As far as Bahria Enclave is concerned, sir ji it is the strategy of Property gambler that suck money from one area & then shift to another. So, Karachi is target for Bahria nowadays.
My brother's farmhouse is on Simly Dam Road. I am well aware of that area. Nilore factory is a sensitive installation and it's not allowed to have any construction activity upto 2000 yards radius around Nilore factory. Radius starts from boundary wall of factory.
Still, a lot of construction going on. A housing society is being developed. Even at the end of current Bahria Enclave, one can see dome of that factory. These restrictions are not exactly imposed. All installations are in populated areas.

B.R Malik sb. Confirm from Ministry of Commerce Housing soc. Defence ministry refused grant of NOC d2 its location. Society then asked them give us 6000 kanals, we will shift society which was an impossible job. So finally they grant NOC to MOC.

Brothers , All of you are talking about TC/MC and no one is briefing us about PECHS. We are Overseas Pakistanis and much rely on the information provided through this Forum. Would you kindly brief us the future of PECHS. Allah may bless you.
I think it is wise to remain away from PECHS right now, they tried there best to raise the prices, eventually failed.
PECHS in just 500 meter periphery of airport(M,K blocks).
Still have no issue but as civil aviation authority is active, some kind of NOC cancellation may happened in near future, PECHS remaining blocks if developed, may have good future (2-3 years later after some population).
Just personal views
Somehow 5 KM radius is too much. Givt has to buy all land. It cannot stop construction. They can cancel NOCs of societies but cannot stop some land owners from constructing homes. What purpose will be served if private land owner make houses and societies cannot be developed.
How on earth our govt can buy land of 5 KM radius. A lot of budget requirement. Impossible for govt.
And who cares for NOCs. Police Foundation has no NOC and plots are selling for above 40 Million due to location.
5 km radius is even impossible to cover. Around motorway there is restriction of structures in radius of 0.5 Km but damn care.
So right people will continue construction.
I think main focus of government would be in range of 1km and VIP movement roads. PECHS just in fence of airport. They already asked for stoppage of work just very near to boundary wall.
500-1000 Meter is a reasonable distance for buffer zone.
The existing law and order situation is not going to help the case for these societies. Even if the government doesn’t want to, it may be compelled to consider some kind of major restrictions. I don’t know about the radius thing but they will definitely need to clear up the landing and take-off strip.
I hope and wish the GOV clear the 5 km radius for safety purpose , gentlemen lets have an example of some beautiful secure airport.
Regarding land purchasing , its easy not difficult ,and it does not need billions of dollars.If any GOV can clear 10 times the area of this new airport 5 km radius for some dam ,with displacement of big population areas, then whats the hurdle here in case of this new Islamabad airport,Except the only hurdle , which is the interests of some influential residential societies.
