I want your suggestion whether to invest in societies nearby airport or in CDA Sectors like G-16, G-17 or F-16 & F-17? Which will be more profitable in medium to long-term? Need your valuable comments.

Ali bhai thanks a lot for such a good news, NHA and DYnast asosiates of TopCity-1 agreed on route access to airport via TopCity-1 for which 130 kanal land will be provided by TopCity-1 to NHA for the route free of cost..and in return direct access to the society will be guranteed by NHA.
The route will be open within a week or so.
Cheers TopCity-1 investors and its time to get the benefit of investment. Dont get late...

The tender for airport link road is not cancelled, date is extended till 27 Jan 2015
It looks the whole Airport management is totally useless.
How many times they will tender and keep on extending.
Govt. Should take very serious action and change the whole lot if they are interested. They want to cash the project in their last term of Govt. Its really disgusting.Current non professional management will end up to more than Rs.120 billions.

I recently came to know it through a news source that the New Islamabad Airport would be operational by 2016.

The way things are moving, is in doubt New Airport will be functional even in 2016. Incompetence/Corrupt system is the main hurdle here.
Guys aoa... Actually , we need political will and sincerity to complete the new Islamabad airport, which is lacking. But in any case the project is at such a stage that it can not be abandoned. I personally feel that this project can be completed by the end of this year, "IF" dedicated and sincere efforts are put in.
As far as the link to new airport is concerned, that is only 4 km patch from Kashmir Highway, and it has been principally agreed by Senate and NHA, just need a formal and again a "sincere" decisive order from the competent authority.
Bluedoctor, Actually we need the honesty and courage to tell the poor investor that Top City’s future is no so bright and it has never been so promising as its management has been portraying. No mincing the words no false hopes, plain reality will help people get out of this black-hole.
Topcity management seems rude while dealing with clients.

Anyways the best thing is to call up these people and get an answer about the meeting between Topcity and NHA recently. ALLAH knows if they are hiding something.

There are three major phases remaining to completing the new airport. First phase is completion of civil works, Second is purchase and deployment of equipment and machinery while third is testing of technical instruments in different conditions to validate all parameters, before the system can go live with actual flights. Remember this airport will have the most sophisticated instrument landing system, the first and only one of its kind in Pakistan.
Phase 1 is likely to be completed by April. Phase 2 is likely to be completed by October and Phase 3 by September 2016. This is the minimum time required and it leaves ample time for NHA to play around with different ideas for access road.
