I had an option of purchasing in TC/MC, but last year when I went over there, Tc was having no direct access from main road; airport machinery was using pechs road plus I thought its an old society and is having all NOCs.
I also dont know whats the road plan government is coming up with am just tired of all this speculation.
Jo ho ga dekha jaye ga, but its a hard earned hilal money am sure Allah will give decent return over it.
I am glad that PECHS members are participating in blog discussion now. I too have Commercial plot in Block C and going through with same feelings like my all other brothers.

I agree with Sayeein, all the societies near new airport will ultimately rise. However, as i am also carrying out the market survey and have seen the locations , so i second sayeein that TOPCITY-1 is having an edge on others, and with the latest news of reopening of kashmir highway to new airport via TopCity-1 , prices have started increasing.
Anyways best of luck for all and congrats for the investors of TopCity-1.
Hmm I feel the problem with pechs is that new plots on installments are still available and price is the same as I paid an year ago.
Pechs should stop new bookings if they want the market to go up.
No need to worry about New Airport Construction
Contractors are strictly asked to speed up work and maximum time given to them is next 6-8 months (Augest2015). Otherwise threatened for slashing of 50% of their contract money. People working as a private contractors says they are much much busy now a days. Important matter of installation of control tower is also in tender process.
Proceeding of corruption cases will result further delay, as happened in many cases, without giving any benefit to end users. Its unfortunate but reality in Pakistan.
Road from Thalian is currently in use for all traffic to airport, though not carpeted yet. (Pechs side road already closed). Expect airport usable/Inauguration in end of 2015 start of 2016. Not more then this if all went well, IA.

From Yesterday, PECHS members r contributing. I m regularly warned abt PECHS Fraud game. Although, it has legal status. But with very dirty approach. Fateh jang road was v. Imp. When idea of New Airport was conceived in 80’s but Motorway/Kashmir Highway drastically decreased FJ Road value. However, it will gain importance after 5/6yrs, when airport will be fully functional. I once again ask allottees of PECHS, seek Allah’s help (Istikhara) to sell plot & buy in Top City or 2nd option is Mumtaz City.

I will still stand by my decision of investing in pechs, do not want to start a debate of pros or cons but when I purchased over there I kept the following in my mind
-pechs is a government society though a private developer is working on it
-it had all the NOCs from government
-it had road access from FJ, atleast I was able to go to the site unlike TC/MC
-Airport machinery was using pechs road, they had an
option of TC/MC but they chose pechs
-pechs karachi is a big name and name matters ;)
-on a lighter note I donot like the name of TC/MC, ghee ke dabbay jaisay naam hain
again please am not against tc/mc I just shared the points which I considered before making a purchase.
Leme share a funny story with u guys.
5 years ago I was going to kohat for some office work. While travelling through Fateh jhang road. I saw a lot of societies beside the road with empty booking offices. While passing infront of pechs I laughed out and only an idiot can invest in these societies.

And after 10 years this will be a very much populated area. Pakistan’s population is increasing rapidly.

At page 36 Construction of Road from junction of Kashmir Flighway and N-5 to New Islamabad Internationar Airport (Main Link Road, 15km, 6 lane).
This mentioned route is same as per new route (I-14 to I-17 route )as presented by NHA on new design http://www.pac.na.gov.pk/sites/default/files/reports/20140506%20NIIA%20Final.pdf
From this i assume they are going for I-14 to I-17 route as per new route design.
Still this route is not approved

So much has been reported regarding this road in the past that its hard to believe anything now unless something actually happens on ground. If this news report is correct then it cannot remain hidden for long. Lets see if some development actually takes place or not this time.
