Parking plaza for Murree approved!

The Punjab government is building a parking plaza in Murree that will be able to cater over 4,000 vehicles. Now, everyone who has ever visited Murree can rejoice because the issue of the nightmarish parking scenario, that does its best to ruin every trip, is about to be resolved. Also, this will also help the tourists avoid spending extra cash as bribes to the locals for parking in any remotely decent spot.

Lately, given the increasing number of people who visit the place, tourists have started facing all kinds of problems in the valley. However, the government (being focused on tourism revenue) is actually taking helpful and meaningful steps to facilitate the visitors in tourist spots and organise local businesses. The provincial government has also announced that it will link the Kotli Sattian, Narr, Punj Peer and Prindla in Rawalpindi, with Murree.

The government (both provincial and federal) is looking to develop the tourism industry and are establishing new spots – which will help ease the burden on Murree. Soon, Murree will not be the only cheap hillside vacation that Pakistanis will be able to afford and I, for one, am pleased.
