A very good news for the Top City, Mumtaz City investors.
PM Nawaz Sharif finally visits the Fateh Jang Airport, Zone 2 today in evening.
This was the third time it was looking like he may not visit the new airport site, happened two times before, he cancelled the plan twice.
It looked impossible today when in the morning he was being shown in Multan for M.M Alam's.
In the evening he visited the New Airport site and took briefing from the authorities, Ehsan Iqbal was with him.
He also announced the Kashmir Highway patch of 4.5 km to be completed soon and he does not want any delay in the development, two run ways are complete, also planning for third one.
For water issues he was told that a new dam is being built in Punjab which will cater the needs for airport, so nothing to worry about.
The patch which he mentioned passes through top city, the only shortest way to approach the airport.
Top City plots prices are supposed to be increasing in coming days plus a lot of activity can be seen in Zone 2.
Finally, the Rawat Airport rumor dies it's own death, Malik Riaz could not prolong the game anymore.
I am shocked to see, that in Nawai Waqt and Express news there was news about his visit today, but nothing in Jang, plus no news channels reported it...some tickers, and PTV gave full coverage, that is astonishing, may be Malik Riaz Effect as he has all the air time purchased, his pressure...
Now Let's see what we get in tomarrow's newspapers.

i hav failed 2 understand de link b/w visit f nawaz sharif wid topcity. He has told 2 complete airport by mid 2015 but who cares as de project s already quite old.addidion f 3rd runway will further add 2 de expected delay.
2ndly, thre s still no final decision abt access 2 airport, wat 2 talk f topcity mumtaz city.
kal tak log keh rhy thay k access issue s almost solved, nxt week, aftr 2 wks, topcity has won case bla bla bla...marketing trick 2 sell ur rotten eggs s good but here, its nt matter f 10-20 rupees, its matter f their life time savings.
I wish n pray topcity improves v soon but i wld strongly recommend dat v shld sale de facts...nt rumours.
I feel topcity will definitely excel but at its rite time wich s little ahead.

Now here's a million dollar question many novices ask, "How and why should an airport have ANY affect on the prices of property in the adjoining areas?"
I have faced myself with the same question one too many times where it often comes with the accusation,'only an agent would say that to you.'
Associating price hikes with the airport, or the 3rd runway in this case, is not something totally unheard of. Has anybody heard that story about Aleem Khan and how he got oh-so-rich overnight?
Well here is his secret. The man found out about the construction and the location of the new airport in Lahore and what did he do? He did exactly what any savvy investor would do. He bought the surrounding land, in acres, and earned billions when the prices went up.
There is a lesson to be learned in this, friends. And remember, learning is earning.

PM emphasized on completion of Airport by March 2015. I think forcefully, associating his visit with the prosperity of TC, MC is not fair. Is there any authentic source for the statement given above "The patch which he mentioned passes through top city, the only shortest way to approach the airport"?
To me, MC does not only rely on the development of airport, because they focus on their own development too. But TC stakeholders are always seeking good news about airport in order to sell their property, without paying much attention on their own development and responsibility.
PECHS main double road for airport
The access road mentioned in the ad in nawai waqt on March 19 by top city in an appeal to PM clearly indicates that the proposed access road will pass through the I and H series of Islamabad sectors and will connect the new airport somewhere near Thalian interchange.
But logically there will be more than one access roads to new airport. But if some one insist that there will be just one access to the airport is being simply irrational.
As suggested by NHA there will be at least four access roads to new airport
1- VIP access Road
2- Thalian Interchange
3- Toll Plaza
4- Fateh Jang Road
so one can conclude that not just one but all the existing and new housing and commercial projects in zone 2 and near airport will generally benefit with the completion of new airport.

It's common sense brother, the shortest access which he said is the one which passes through Top City.
Shoaib, the PM himself went by Aircraft, security forces and protocol followed him by the kashmir highway top city and Motorway...and thallian interchange kacha road access.

Idrees, yeh there can be 4/5 access roads, I-14's plan already cancelled. But if you are making 4/5 new access roads which haven't started yet, won't you complete the already built only 4 km remaining patch under stern pressure.

Its seems T/M City (Toll Plaza) and Thalian Interchange are the main contenders at the moment.
But either way its a big news for the Top City and Mumtaz City investors. So congratulations to them.
Now one thing also seems certain that Islamabad will expand to the west which means Zone-2 will see lots of developments in the future IA.
Agreed with Nasir Sab. The shortest and most viable road link to new airport is via TOP CITY. And in the days to come, TOP CITY prices will get BIG JUMP.
