Housing market and prices will improve steadily.
It seems to me that pmln will continue to perform for the next 5 year term. Only minus nawaz. The new leadership of pmln will be more trustworthy of establishment. Pti/ik has been used to change the cosmetics of pnln. Ik already knows his party is over. The credit of nawaz sharif ouster might be his last face saving. Some new players like qadri will strengthen pti to form a future opposition in punjab. In any case pmln stands firm with plenty of establishment serum injected.
Irfan, if PMLN is "allowed" to stay on, then presumably they will follow the same economic policies that will favour more to industrial and agricultural growth. This will keep the money flow into business and property sector will remain dry.
On the other hand, upcoming CPEC will bring in big time investors from China who will shift their industrial units to Pakistan due to increasing labour cost in China. They will also buy agri lands for corporate farming. So in a nutshell, the CPEC factor will boost demand for land and housing near industrial zones. This growth will be all too new and unfamiliar to most of us here. So whoever will plan well will stay ahead.
@Irfan Anwar
Zakm taza hai. So your response of denial is pretty normal. Soon inshallah IK will become PM of Pakistan. Inshallah.
@Isloo1
CPEC will also bring immediate debt liability of $60 billion which pigeons like you fail to get. By the time we pay it back it will be $90 Billions in total.
This $60 Billion is on top of current national debt of $80 Billions.
Mr. 50% noora sharif with help of GHQ has sold our children's future in hands of Chinese. No different than what Musharraf did.
Isloo1, First of all, I believe that no govt can isolate its focus on agriculture and industry. The progress in these sectors is the backbone of any reasonable country, and directly affects the housing market.
Believe me, our land is precious. All the variables are quite visible on the ground. Collect them and change the market perception, and grow with it. I can point you to other catalysts if CPEC is not sufficient. About 4 million Pakistanis will be leaving middle east permanently in next couple of years.
