I don't see them very safe being a pvt society.
You can go for MPCHS projects, which are safe and profitable.
CDA plots are also safe.
Other options could be DHA and Bahria.

For long term investment (2-3) years…Top City is a good investment option.

Top City is a good option but long term, at least 2-3 years, plus, also consider DHA Valley.
It depends upon your budget. Top City is safe for long term investment dependant upon how much you pay and how long you keep it for. Also you can explore files that can be profitable in other areas such as B-17 Multi, Mumtaz City, DHA Phase 2 Ext, Gulberg. You can also explore plots on actual ground in places such as Bahria phase 8 and CDECHS, which are possession plots, so you can construct a house straight away or atleast you have something to show for it rather than just piece of paper. Depends upon your budget and location exactly, if you prefer a particular zone in Islamabad aswell.
I personally feel that Top city future is bright , but surprisingly i see little support for it here,cant understand why?? i cant find any solid reason because development is going on which will take due time, airport exists and will be completed in due time 1-2 years, motorway and Kashmir highway will have link to Top City which is not denied by any one, then why are we so impatient and why don't we give time to the society and its management so that they prove themselves. Senior members am i wrong??
You are very rite Musa Khan, but there are certain issues which are in pipe line, related to the developer and some non serious attitude from the management, so we are working on it, also discussing it in another forum.
Nsir sab thx for understanding my view point...as far as developers of Top City are concerned, so far they are doing well and recently i visited the site, road infrastructure is being built, but it will definitely take time(1-2) years, coming to the management, i collected some data and according to that the management has invested money from their own pocket to make the society prosper and to improve the confidence of investors, because almost 1 year back , the society was totally ignored. So after investing from their own pocket they have started the development work, and to get the money back with return they need to continue it, which they will at all cost, as their own money is at stake. Therefore, i say that Top City is having great potential to grow and after 2 years, prices will be minimum double than todays rate, because by that time hopefully airport and Kashmir highway will be fully functional. Members do u agree??
Musa khan u r right, after 2 years , Top City prices will be minimum double the rate in which available now, because by then AIRPORT will be fully operational and Kashmir Highway will be completed, linking Top City.
Intern…no body is saying that Top City lies in Islamabad, its adjacent to new airport in Rawalpindi, but as u said in other post that , u never know, tomorrow CDA may extend Islamabad to the new airport…and i agree because Government wants to rename it as New Islamabad Airport, instaed of naming it after benazir.
IA top city will appreciate once its brought within ICT jurisdiction. Islamabad airport is confirmed. The ball is the TC management’s court to deliver as promised
Hopefully…Top City management will continue the pace of development…and we all are expecting good standard of development…which will be visible in few months. Moreover, by 2014 mid …this society is likely to get a boom… In Sha ALLAH.
