Should I construct a house on already owned plot in a good society for rental benefits or it will be more profitable to buy another plot in a good branded society for future gains? I can get 10-15 thousand/pm if I construct a house? Any advice in this regards will highly be appreciated.
I will never recommend you to buy a house, construct it yourself. Plus, if you are only looking for rental income, buy a flat instead. Regards,

I myself have constructed two small houses in G-13,Islamabad for rental income, it is solid investment as G-13 plot prices are increasing day by day but the construction material/ labour rate which i got before an year was far less than the rate i am getting today, so it is a solid investment, it depends in which sector your plot is ? If you can't take the stress of construction, you should buy a flat for rental income as it is easily manageable and plots give you much more profit then rental/sale of a house but on the other hand, monthly rental is a very good source of income in longer terms.
