Sky High Development Charges of New Metro City Gujar Khan

Dear Friends,

I wanted your recommendations on how to deal with the situation NMC Gujar Khan has created, by sending notification to their plot buyers to pay hefty amount as the development charges.

Talking about the minimum sized plot of 5 Marla which during launch was totaled to PKR 1,990,000/-, they are asking a total of PKR. 1,475,000/- as Development charges. Do you think is this a just?

This has brought the price of 5 Marla plots around 8Lakh less than the actual price of the plot. I am not sure is there any authority who can control developers and take pertinent measures.

actually they launch this scheme to make money and now they are making, purpose is not to develop and serve people, acutal price of plot was already high as per location of society now these additional development charges will make the 5 marla plot around 35 lac which is not justifiable
