The news goes like this…. CDA has regularized PM Imran Khan’s residence ‘Bani Gala Mansion’ under new bylaws approved by the federal cabinet last year. As per the CDA’s officials, PM’s house falls in the sub-zone B of the zone IV – where construction work was executed without authority’s permission, however, the area ‘falls in permissible area where the houses can be regularized’.
CDA Deputy Director (building control) Rahim Bangash was recorded stating that after charging the regularization fee PKR 1.206 million – the premiere’s residence has been regularized. The approval letter confirms that ‘the building plans for the building be constructed on Khasra No. 1939, Khewat no, 960, Khatooni no, 1652,1654,1656,1658,1660 & 1674 Mouza Mohra Noor, Islamabad’, has been approved.
Just saw this news and it didn’t settle well with me. Did IK just alter the laws to get the approval for the house? Can someone elaborate what really happened?
