What Are My Options? (1.2 - 1.4 Million Budget)

Dear Gurus,

I am a salaried person and have at most 1.2 - 1.4 million to spare. Kindly tell me what are my investment options. It does not have to be necessarily in Islamabad (although it is preferred). Please enlighten me of my options. I plan to invest for 2-3 years.

  1. I guess B-17 is out of my range, although couple of months back I was thinking of investing there! Is it wise to buy a plot there on installments?? People are asking insane profits.

  2. PECHS, is it a wise option?? Will it give a good return after 2-3 years?

  3. FOECHS?? What is the current situation there??? What can I get in 1 to 1.4 million range?

  4. Bahria phase 8?

  5. I have no idea about Lahore so is there something available in my budget range?

  6. Where in DHA can I get something reasonable in my budget (in ISB or Lahore)

Let me know if I have missed anything.

B 17 installment plots are may be in ur range also consider top city in ur range

Top City 10 marla plot in Block D,E,or F, it's in your range. Development Installments of 5 lac will be on top of it which you have to pay after every three months, this makes 62500/- after every 3 months, it is the best opportunity in your budget. In Bahria Phase 8, you can get a file, but top city is a plot, i always prefer plot over file. Regards.

In Dha phase 2 u can also buy alghurair giga shops or flats on installments. Their price is very reasonable.

Im in a similar dilemma, thinking of 5 marla possession plot in pechs. Or I may go for bt phase 8 ext.

I contacted couple of agents and some of the options that have been presented to me

  1. 30*60 plot in Block D , B17 for around 17 lacs

  2. Reasonablly located 30*60 plot in Block E , B17 for around 20 lacs ( This is way beyond my budget , Alyhough it is good but I dont want to spend all of my savungs at one place )

  3. 10 Marla plot in PECHS, Block C Ext for 16 lacs

  4. The guy which Pk1 referred to me said to stay away frpm Top City as prices are stuck there ( Is that so ???? )

Presented locations may be good though but my allowance is 14 lac maaxxxximum. I can invest for longer time , say like 4 years But Not more than 14 lacs ...

Buy in PECHS M block on Installments. 7 marla plot will be in 16 lacs. Down payment 5 lacs and remaining in 4 quarterly installments.

Purchase 2 Plots in DHA Valley one 8 marla and other 5 marla.

DHA Valley 5 marla plot in Sunflower, Blue Bell, Tulip blocks is not a bad option if you can wait for few years. Otherwise FOECHS is also good option but I am not aware of its price range. Please stay away from TopCity.
