Islamabad: As per Gwadar port’s operator, China Overseas Ports Holding Company (COPHC), and some 20 other companies have already joined the Gwadar free zone with an investment of USD 460 million, stated a news report.
The development of Gwadar is laying a strong infrastructural foundation for future development in the area, and the continued progress has also increased Pakistan’s trust in the port city. Chairman of the Gwadar Port Authority Dostain Jamaldini said that with the development of the port, a number of businesses are showing their interest to establish their presence here. Some realtors who’ve been working here for some time, believe that they’ve made the right choice and that they’ve managed to earn a lot too.
