Lahore: The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bacha Party, a well-known children’s accessories brand, to introduce inclusive and engaging heritage tourism experiences specifically designed for young visitors.
The collaboration aims to combine WCLA’s expertise in heritage conservation with Bacha Party’s creative approach to cultural engagement. The goal is to develop interactive, educational, and family-friendly activities at Lahore’s historic sites, making cultural heritage more accessible and appealing to children — a demographic often overlooked in traditional heritage programming.

As per the agreement, both organisations will work together to host child-focused events, guided tours, and heritage-themed festivals. Plans also include the development of creative learning spaces at key heritage locations, offering children a fun and memorable introduction to Lahore’s rich history and architecture.
Director Media and Marketing of WCLA, Tania Qureshi, described the partnership as a new chapter in the city’s heritage tourism. “While preserving the grandeur of our historic sites remains our priority, this initiative ensures that children and families are actively engaged in that process. It’s about creating meaningful, educational experiences that connect the younger generation to their cultural roots.”
