Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) instructed the Parks and Horticultural Authority (PHA) to utilise any resources needed to restore the beauty of The Mall, according to a news report. This was in response to a petition by a local trader against large hoardings and encroachment in the area, ruining its picturesque scenery.
The court told the PHA to accelerate its plantation efforts and restore the historic beauty of The Mall, with the cooperation of all relevant departments. The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) were also instructed to take action against these encroachments.
