Net IT exports, which exclude technology-related imports, totalled USD 3.98 billion during FY26, highlighting the sector’s continued contribution to Pakistan’s foreign exchange earnings.
The government aims to increase annual IT exports to USD 10 billion by FY29 under the Uraan Pakistan economic plan. According to Topline Securities, achieving this target will require average annual growth of nearly 30% over the next three fiscal years.
The IT sector’s record performance further strengthens its position as one of Pakistan’s leading services export industries and a key source of foreign exchange.
