Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board is preparing for a large-scale anti-encroachment drive, a news source reported. Special squads have been formed to clear the roads of encroachments. This is being done in preparation for Muharram and all the roads are being cleared for Muharram processions.
All the ways through which the procession has to pass have to be cleared or the staff will face action. The administration has also instructed the staff to patrol the roads through which the processions will pass so that it should be ensured that these are encroachment free.
