Capital Smart City Islamabad is a recent addition and Pakistan's first smart city that is located in Islamabad. The developers and designers who are engaged in this project are outsourced from China, UK, and the Singapore, which focuses on providing best services to residents. The development work is in the process with rapid speed. It is a combination of Residential Plots and some Commercial as well to provide the necessary basic amenities of day-to-day life. The Aim of developing this project is to provide a luxurious lifestyle and golden business opportunities to the people of the country.

Such establishment will be the aspiration for other developers. This housing project is the example of such development that is going to be set by three developers, two of them belong to Pakistan HRL & FWO, and one of them is from China. The smart City is designed by Norman Foster Meinhardt Group Singapore While the consulting company was Future Developments Ltd and Engineering Dimensions Ltd.

Capital Smart City is the 1st smart City in Pakistan that will enhance the beauty of Capital City Islamabad and surrounded cities. The project is located at the distance of 4. 4 km from new Toll Plaza of Islamabad and has direct access to Islamabad and Lahore motorway through Thalian Interchange.
Project plan:
Capital Smart City is a multi-purpose project in Islamabad that will fulfill the requirements of both commercial and residential sectors. The Project is spread over the total area of 40,000 Kanal. Capital Smart City is going to offer developed residential Plots of 5 Marla, 10 Marla, 1 Kanal and 2 Kanal while farm houses of 5 Kanal, 10 Kanal, and 20 Kanal. The entire commercial zone will spread on 147 acres of land having towers with 40 floors.
Main facilities and Amenities:
• Wide Boulevard
This scheme will be a high-class city that will be serving with an extensive range of facilities and amenities. The city will have broad Central Boulevard of 300' feet with eight-lanes having four lanes each side; while the length of the boulevard is 30 km. The minimum street size will be 40' feet.
• Education facilities
The capital city will be a large city having education zone in the area of 139 acres including secondary and high schools, colleges, university and learning centers.
• Entertainment
The smart capital city will also provide entertainment facilities to its residents by forming a community center of 56 acres that will be the Pakistan's largest community center. Disney Land for kids in the area of 125 acres and Entertainment Zone will be spread on 89 acres of land.
• Economic Zone
Capital Smart City Islamabad has developed an Economic zone For the people of city t have large size businesses that not only contribute to their Profit but also helps to improve country’s economy.
• Commercial center
Capital Smart City Islamabad has also planned an ideally located central commercial area for offices and shopping plaza to cater the shopping needs of individuals.
• Hospitals
The city has also reserved some of the lands for health clinics, medical centers, and a well-equipped hospital to secure the life of Capital Smart City’s residents.
• Other amenities
The city also provides the mosque for each separate block, jogging track, gymnasium, security room, a shopping center and a health zone on 145. 7 acres land.
