The price for 120 sq. yd. plots start at PKR 65 lakh and can go as high as PKR 1.9 crore. After that, 240 sq. yd. plots have an average price of PKR 2.4 crore. Lastly, buying 500 sq. yd. plots in Malir Cantt can cost you around PKR 3.5 to PKR 6 crore.
Malir Cantt has dedicated areas for commercial developments, parks, mosques, community centres, and sports complexes. Almost all these facilities are managed by the Pakistan Army. The neighbourhood is generally peaceful and very clean. Both water and electricity supplies are handled by the Cantonment Board Karachi. Plus, since it’s a military area, it’s quite secure. Cantt houses PAF Malir Base, Air Defence Brigade, Falcon Complex, and ISSB Centre. In addition to this, there is a check-post on every entrance.
There are a number of top-notch schools in Malir Cantt like APS, C. B. Public School, Foundation Public School, Fauji Foundation Model School, and F. G. Public School, which receive admissions from the nearby neighbourhoods as well. Even some good degree institutes like Iqra University, Baqai Medical University, and KIMS are located in close proximity. Regarding healthcare treatments, the inhabitants can facilitate from one of the top hospitals called Combined Military Hospital. Al-Khidmat Hospital, Dr Atiq Medical Centre, and Tasneem Memorial Hospitals are also present in this society.
Many local markets can be visited for groceries here, however, the presence of CSD and Imtiaz Supermarket has brought a lot of convenience and relief to residents. Along with that, a lot of clothing brands like Levi’s, Chen One, J., Limelight, and Gul Ahmed have opened their outlets here. The food scene in Malir Cantt is quite vibrant. There are local restaurants present in the area along with international food chains. A few names worth mentioning in this regard are Pie in the Sky, BBQ Tonight, Domino’s Pizza, McDonald’s, OPTP, Subway, and Burger Lab.
