By the way, how is access to DHA? Restrictions on gates and bothering people etc?? Because I heard DHA Khi and Lhr has this problem? Are civilians treated equally over there?

Junaid Sb - security is reasonable on entry. They ask you if you are resident and then the address. If no address, you have to leave your NIC with them. Sometimes they also check for sticker on the car, and then make you prove your identity.

In the current security situation it is probably important. Residents should get stickers from DHA on their cars and then it is a smooth entry.

Not good, I don’t like being questioned all the time or my guests to have trouble coming for meeting me. And then renewal of stickers will be another headache.

But yes if you are looking for a society with a free entry with no checking DHA may not be the place for you.

DHA also actively fines you on placing construction material on foot paths or roads - and you have to place it on the plot. This is also a pain point for many but keep the roads and path clean..

Can any body give me the approximate price range of 1 kanal non-corner plot in DHA Islamabad phase 2 in the order of sectors 'A'; 'E'; 'H'; 'K'; 'M'; and 'P'? This can give us an idea of price differences between an under developed sector and gradually more developed sectors.

In M and P the price is in 80s and 90s lakhs. In the other sectors you have mentioned. The price is between 1 to 1.8 crore.

B and C range is 1.70 to 1.77 crores

D, E.and F range is 1.60 to 1.68 crores

G, H and J range is 1.45 to 1.58 crores

After this a wide price gap and then........

K and L range is 1.05 to 1.15 crores

M and N range is 95 lacs to 1.03 crores

Q and P range is 78 lacs to 93 lacs

Does it look OK? Please correct me where you see the range is not appropriate.

Yes almost same prices and you can add 10 marla N 4.7 to 5.5 and in P block 5 to 6 million.

I've heard through a dealer that DHA is going to launch commercial plots of Sector Q & P on main DHA Expressway.

8 Marla for 2.6 crore and 4 Marla for 1.3 crore.

Can anyone verify this news ?

Are the commercial plots on installments plan or full cash ?

These prices of different sectors telling us one thing that which ever sector is more thickly populated is more expensive. 5 years ago the construction was very slow for different political and social reasons but now new construction and facilities is more rapid each day as new facilities are attracting more people to come and live in DHA Islamabad.These prices are good for today's date but after 1 year's time Insha Allah we will see a big change in prices. With the news from sheikh saheb about the commercial plots along with express way when become official not only lift the prices of sectors Q and P but also in phase 2 extension and DHA valley plots. Nadeem saheb we are waiting for the area photos that you promised earlier.

Its not confirmed news about commercial plots, but 2 different DHA dealers told me.

So need someone authentic to verify it.

10 Marla plots are being quoted at 70-80% price of kanal.

Sheikh saheb. Your news about commercial plots is confirmed. I have recently seen the advertisement on Zameen website for the booking of these plots. Total payment is 2.65 for 8 marla and 1.35 for 4 marla commercial plots. It is on both sides (Q and P sectors) on 150 ft dha express way. Payments are flexible. Now this is confusing for me. Is DHA is booking these plots through selected dealers or people who already booked these plots and have put these plots on sale through these dealers.Anyhow this will have a positive impact on residential plots prices in Q and P sectors very soon.
