Update - Margalla Avenue Project

Someone on this forum told that possesion of some plots in D block is also announced.can anyone confirm which series in D block is offered possesion?

Tassadaq few plots of 300 numbers and 500 numbers .

Dear All: I am very confuse. Title of discuss is Update - Margala Avenue but you all talking about Multi blocks. I think for Multi we should create and separate discussion and you all guys please post here on that info which related to Margala Avenue. Thanks in advance. Regards

Yes Mr Shabir is right we should care for it and be in discipline

Agree with Shabir, let's take Multi projects on the relevant threads.

Kashif, I will come back on Multi farmhouse sewerage issue on Orchards thread as my source is still adamant that at least part of it is true. I am also among those who first panicked and sought gurus' confirmation. Since I do not belong to promoters/demoters league therefore I don't care if any info stirs up the market. My reason for coming to the forum is entirely for info exchange.

Re. B-17, F block getting interchange on M1. It's not a confirmed news and it is up for challenge by any bro of wisdom.

Isloo bhai please advise one way or the other.

According to your soruce, there will be sewerage facility or not? Pk1 has quoted a man in Building Dept of MPCHS who says there will be sewerage lines. Even his name is mentioned.

So please advise yes or no?

Pardesi bhai, let me answer this on Islamabad Orchards thread.

Mr Shabir is right. I think it happens because for multi Margala avenue is life and death. If built it will be only 10 km to Islamabad, if not then its 13 km only to reach motorway chowk travelling on GT road…you dont want to do that during rush hours, trust me. I did it for a year. Margala avenue is necessary for all those societies.

Look at Margalla Road on this Multi Map...

I am surprised at how Margalla avenue is being thought of as the cure for all problems for Zone 2. Off course, it will help but there are a few points to keep in mind.

  1. Its a 4 lane road, will heavy traffic like trucks, tractors be allowed on it?

  2. As it will not be fence lined and land around it has been purchased by some strong ppl, what will be done to save it from becoming like IJP road with uncontrolled encroachments and commercial activities.

  3. Traffic going to Islamabad will have to exit from the service lane of E-11, which is a single lane road and remains choked during rush hours even now. Will it be able to take the additional load?

These are a few points to consider, Only for those, who are willing to think beyond the market hype and euphoria. Hoping for the best.

Kashif

Yes its not a cure for all the problems agree.

It will, however uplift Zone 2 to some extent as the main issue for these societies is the distance from Zone 1 and Islamabad as a whole.

I dont think they will allow the heavy traffic onto MA to exit through E11 , unless they sort out the whole road network in the area. E11 road is not suitable for this kind of pressure and even if you allow the lorries this route, they ill block Khyabane Iqbal.

BTW , according to an eye witness the work has resumed on MA :)

Yes. Work has resumed. I went last week. I also have pictures. But it was only one excavator working with 3 trucks. Road at the end with graveyard is still one lane. Zero work at it. No bridge is made on way.

By the way I had some work in Land survey deptt of CDA. Most of the high ups were gone to C-13 and 14.

So CDA has to complete MA.

C-13 is like an impossible sector for CDA because of Shah Allah Dita Village, which is huge. C-14 onwards seem promising, but CDA can temporarily provide them access through completing the existing 6 km portion of Margalla avenue from GT Road. A quick resolution of the problematic 3 km patch near graveyard can not be automatically assumed. Especially since the time between announcing a sector and actual possession can be several years. Nevertheless, I am hopeful that eventually CDA will resolve this issue.

It was C-14 and C-15 in my last post.

Not a very encouraging news:

Anything is possible in this country. Is margalla avenue facing similar politics as the new airport? It seems so.

@ Raza

A very vague statement without naming any source and after reading this , one struggles to understand if the project has been cancelled or not. Such news are normally planted with malicious intents.

Besides , MA from sanngjani to D12 is not a ring road to start with, only if MA is extended beyond D12 , it could turn into ring road.

Such news is planted so that rates come down and the big fish can buy a lot of property. Seems like Margalla Avenue is definitely going to be completed now.

Now that clearly was a stupid article with no basis at all....

The writer doesn't even know the difference between MA and ring road.

Major LOL!

Its a nonsense news item, if anything, appearance of such articles in a major newspaper gives me a gut feeling that something good is about to happen regarding Margalla avenue.

Khuda ap sab ky zuban muabrik kary …loolllz
