Where he hinted Isloo? I know one programme of Hanif Abbasi with Hamid Mir clearly said about 10 Lane highway from zero point to Rawat.
B.R. Malik: here is the link bro.
The News: Dec. 6, 2014. "Rawalpindi Islamabad Metro Bus Project Implementation Committee Chairman Hanif Abbasi has said that government is going to implement Rawat to Aabpara Metro Bus project in next phase and then Taxila to Islamabad."
Great. Thanks a lot.
Wake up CDA officials!
Thx Zeeshan for the Information
Dear Zeeshan,
Many thanks for share link.Need to shake CDA.
Regards
It seems that the constitution avenue to murree expressway section of margalla avenue has suddenly become the priority rather than finishing the existing patch.
@Kashif Sheikh. Sir how are you saying that? I mean is this your opinion or you have any direct information? Thx.
Sir in fact I have very direct information and there was a reason why I said that yesterday. CDA has already advertised for a designing consultancy firm for this phase of margalla avenue project. Now they have also advertised for prequalification of construction firms for the same section. This has been published in today's newspapers:

CDA sure seems in a hurry to at least complete this section of MA.
Yes, Kashif Sb is right… I saw the ad in today’s newspaper too… Thanks for the reliable info Kashif Sb… Please try to get any inside info about the rest of MA too…
Dear Kashif Sheik,
Many thanks for update.it's really good news may Allah bless you ever.Junaid bahi mubarak ho.
Regards
Junaid sb I think I already mentioned that chairman CDA has directed the engineering and planning wing to develop a workable proposal for the remain 3 km patch of MA to address the graveyard issue. They have been asked to come up with something, preferably before the next board meeting. I believe they are already working on this task.
Once it is ready, the project plan will be placed before the CDA board for approval with the revised plan and cost estimates. If I can, I will try to find out what are the likely options they are considering.
Thanks kashif .you r doing great job
Haha Nadeem bhai khair mubarak.. 5 salo se MA ka log intezar kar rahay hain.. Bas ab time a he gaya..
Yes Kashif Sb.. You said it.. I think this will take a few months because planning and approval takes time. Hopefully they will finish it by the end of Dec.. Yes please, that would be great.. We need a reliable inside source because there are too many rumours in the market..
So this part of margalla avenue is going to be 6 lane, but isn't the section from GT road to D-12 a 4 lane road? What are the chances of that road getting widened as well?
But having said, I think an 11 km long access controlled road passing through the scenic margalla hill valleys will be an amazing road, and I suspect a future favorite for couples! LOL!
But how will army, Air Force and Navy allow to have road passing through their sectors?
E-10= Army
E-9= Airforce
E-8= Navy
Some services Chiefs has homes close to Marsala hills. The also have jogging n hiking trail.
@B R Malik..Forces have got nothing to do with MA , as its just a road passing at the outer periphery of E-8,9,10 just like Margalla Road which goes from the South of these sectors. On the contrary in my opinion it will help the security of these sectors as it will act as a border between Margalla Hills and E Sectors.
Future development of Islamabad is linked with MA, so it can be delayed but not abolished.
I have been to the place many times. They way they have set it for their own taste and use that I don't think they will ever let any one build a busy road no matter how much important it is.
Lets see if CDA has the will and resources to counter them.
