@ Kashif 262 million have been paid to contractor in the year I mentoned. 51 % of work have been completed. The work have beeb stopped because CDA has not aquired land of 2.5 km . Now CDA is working on alternate route because of graveyard

I think this project will be completed at the end of the tenor of this government.
I agree with that opinion. Government is deliberately keeping a bunch of “ready to go” projects in store for the last year. In the last year, these projects will get completed one after the other to create a feel good factor just before the elections.

Thanks Fahad, seems like contract has been awarded for MA construction. This was much awaited and will have a very very positive impact on Zone 2 overall. CDA wants to launch C sectors and give a link for D-12 as soon as possible.
Pls note this may be second part of MA.strting from F5 to barakho. Nothing clear in this news item and not sensibly reported. Existing project already tendered it will only be retendered after cancellation of present contract.

Yes this must be ph 2 of MA, from F 5 till Murree expressway, as budget for the same was included for this year by CDA…
The bids for phase II from F-5 to Murree Road were invited in June this year for both consultant and contractor. This news is related to that section of margalla avenue. Frankly PML govt is far more interested in that section and I wont be surprised if it gets completed even before the old section.

Thats what I have understood. Margalla avenue pave hoi hoti to B17 walay jumpain maar rahay hotay. Koi na koi khabar zarour ati. :)
