I dont see anything happening to it in the next 5 years .. Funds were 1st routed towards completion of kashmir highway, then metro bus and now islamabad highway.
Pls do update if anyone has any update on this.

Margalla Avenue is a dead-horse, still in litigation. CDA cannot do anything about it even if they allocate money for it, work can't be started.
CDA is working on reviving the project.

Well chief's appointment doesn't make CDA null and void. It has its mandate and will deliver sooner or later.
Lets hope, 2018 becomes the year for Margalla Avenue. :)
Any update on rawalpindi ring road? when it will be started? which societies will get benefit out of it?
Rawalpindi Ring Road will benefit following societies;
FOECHS, CBR-PHASE II, I-16, Capital Smart City, PIA Employees Welfare Society
CDA is serious for MA and keep budget for this project so hope for best.

Rawalpindi Ring Road is dream.I don't think it will come true in CN Gov because he don't like to give any benefits to local people.

Let us hope that some good news come out in 2018 as I heard that CDA is seriously planning to construct MA at the earliest
