Update - Margalla Avenue Project

I have also visited the Wapda Town and AWT this weekend. The development was going on. The road from Wapda town (D block) to AWT is completed and entry gate is also placed. Now if someone wants to visit Wapda town he can go through AWT instead of following the route of Sangjani. Moreover, the work on Motorway interchange is almost completed. Once the interchange is opened, there will be a signal free route to zero point islamabad from these two societies. Margalla Avenue will be a plus point.

I am also going there on sunday. Will give u latest update … thats a good news for investors of wapda town and AWT …like me

Shabir, Multi has got motorway interchange approved at its B-17 Sector F. Together with Margalla Avenue, it will join its Orchard, B-17 and E-11 projects. Tarnol interchange and widening of Fateh Jang road will also link up F-17 nicely with GT and MW.

MA is next big thing for the current govt. After stern action against the contractors and threatening them with arrest warrants and blacklisting, the long delayed KH is completed almost overnight. Now the govt turns its attention to MA, lets see what happens there.

@ margalla avenue project in the pipeline! hahahahahaha yeh project bichara humasha pipeline mae hi phansa rehta hai. CDA ko kisi bhangi ka pas layjao bhaiyo! No offense, just joking.

Isloo Sb… Is that reliable news? If that is true then it is amazing.

I think its fake news.

I am amazed at how easily incorrect information can get planted on this website and people accept such "News" without due verification. I am not sure what the debate is all about over here.

First read this from Multi's own website (go to Page 6):

http://www.mpchs.com/Resources/Downloads/46c2c92e-e85e-47ee-8ef5-534f69284247Orchards%20Changed%20Brochure.pdf.pdf

Now read this VERY CAREFULLY:

B-17 IS NOT, WILL NOT, NOR is it EVER* going to get an Interchange. Period.

Please read this line at least once everyday, for as long as it takes for the reality to sink in!

  • Means next 10 years at least.

Multi or no Multi , MA is an important part of Isb road network and has to be built insha Allah. Even if there is no B17 , they have to build this road. B17 does not need an interchange , it needs linking up with D12, thats all. Interchange, if constructed, will be a plus though.

Its time to buy in in B17 , phir na kahn a main khbar na hui ;0)

Yea multi will not get motorway intetchange. AWT , ECHS and wapda town has been made payments to NHA for interchange. Now its a matter of few months and it will be opened. Dont go on fake news of multi offices ....

Due to dust its name should be matti gardens instead of multi gardens.

Agreed with kashif

No chance of interchange to multi. Awt, wapda and Echs has already paid to NHA . Now its a matter of few months and interchnage of Awt will be opened.

Due to dust multi name should be as mutti gardens

Dear All: Thanks for update. Keep it up i.e. Share the correct information to each other. Regards

I just noticed today that compared to B-17, Wapda town's prices are awfully low. Its strange since Wapda is just adjacent to B-17's C & B blocks and will be parted from it by proposed Margalla Avenue. It has more potential to gain from Margalla Avenue than D,E & F blocks of B-17. Does somebody know what is the storey of Wapda town?

Thanks

Development of Wapda town was delayed since 1988, and started a year ago. Progress was also slow due to delayed interchange. Now management of society has fasten the development and sector B,C are ready for construction. Possession of plots has also been given to owners.

Its the best best investment in Zone-II. You can get 1 kanal plot in range of 20 to 30 lac and 10 Marla plot from 10 to 16 lac.

But after 6 months i am quite confident that you will not get these prices.

Zubair prices are awfully low because Wapda Town's access at the moment is totally awfully, and no one knows if and when Margalla Avenue will be extended to cut across Zone 2. Even then, Wapda Town will be much farther from Zone 1 (C-sectors) as compared to B-17.

Wapda Town will benefit from AWT interchange on Motorway but even then, look at the difference in distance from zone 1.

Last but not least, in Islamabad Multi is one of three blue-chip brands. Wapda Town is not.

There is no match between Wapda Town and B-17 in terms of current prices. But if we see return in % then wapda town can be a better option. It can give you more multiples as compared to B-17

Moreover, there will be access to new airport from Wapda town to AWT then to Airport via Ministry of Commerce Employees coperative society.

Thank you guys. I appreciate and regard your input.

Dear Kashif sahib: Thanks for your research work. Dear Isloo sahib now whats your views. I think you should not share any news to other unless you are 100% sure. In your last post you very firmly posted the MA will connected to GT road at Multi which is incorrect. If you have any proof please share with us as Kashif sahib shared with us proof about his info.

regards

Dear PK sahib: Though you are Property Gur rant but taking the liberty of democracy I will oppose some of the point.

Current Access to WAPDA Town: Upto Sangjani Chowk we use GT road to reach WT and B17 is located at GT road after Sangjani Chowk. From Sangjani to WT we have a road and its take only 5 to minutes to reach WT. I am not sure how further one travel from Sangjani to B-17 on GT road. So access and distance is if not less but qual. And if AWT gets the interchange and after the completion of Kashmir High one can easily reach Islamabad in 35 minutes through Motorway. Also there are chance that MA will meet M1 through GT road at Sangjani and then WAPDA Town. So if this happened then time distance will decrease further.
