Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday reviewed ongoing development work across several new sectors of the federal capital, with officials reporting that basic infrastructure in Sector C-14 has almost been completed and possession of plots will be handed over soon.
The review meeting, held at CDA Headquarters, was chaired by Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa. Officials briefed the chairman that work in Sector C-14 is in its final stages, and preparations are underway for the smooth handover of plots to allottees. Randhawa directed that signboards displaying plot and street numbers be installed and that complete plot information be uploaded on the e-map for the convenience of residents.

In Sector I-12, development work on nearly all residential and commercial plots has also reached its final stages. The chairman instructed authorities to ensure that essential facilities—including streetlights, e-maps, and signboards—are fully functional before possession.
The meeting further reviewed progress in Sector E-12, where infrastructure development in sub-sectors 1 and 2 is nearing completion. Work in sub-sector 3 is ongoing, while tenders for sub-sector 4 will be issued once existing obstacles are cleared. Randhawa emphasized expediting possession handovers in E-12 and ordered the complete removal of illegal constructions and encroachments to ensure proper development standards are maintained.
