Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) will include commercial plots in LDA City Business Bay and LDA Avenue One in its upcoming draw, with applications to be accepted until September 2.
The decision was announced during a meeting chaired by LDA Director General Tahir Farooq, which reviewed budget planning, town planning, auctions, engineering works and development progress in LDA schemes.

According to officials, commercial plots in LDA City Business Bay and LDA Avenue One have been included in the upcoming draw. The draw will also feature 5-marla residential plots in Johar Town.
The LDA’s Auctions Directorate briefed the meeting on applications received for the upcoming draw, while the Finance Directorate presented proposed budget allocations for the next financial year.
The authority has identified LDA City as a priority for development during the current financial year, with the director general directing officials to accelerate development work.
The meeting also discussed improving the delivery of basic municipal services in LDA Avenue One, Jubilee Town and LDA Enclave Scheme. The LDA chief directed officials to develop a governance model for these schemes.
He further instructed the Town Planning Wing to intensify action against illegal construction and unauthorised commercialisation and stressed compliance with standard operating procedures for construction activities during the monsoon season.

The LDA also plans to initiate development work on other schemes under its Sustainable Development Model during the current financial year.
