Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to auction five plots designated for hotel development in Islamabad on September 26, 2026, at the Jinnah Convention Centre. The auction will begin at 10:00 AM.

The plots include Plot No. 22 in D-12 Markaz, Convention Centre Hotel Plot No. 6 and Five-Star Hotel Plot No. 8 in F-5/1, a hotel plot on the E-11 Northern Strip, and another site along Srinagar Highway between the Sports Complex and Margalla Hotel.
According to the CDA’s auction terms, successful bidders will be provided a one-year payment plan. Possession of a plot will be granted after payment of 75% of the total price, subject to a bank guarantee for the remaining amount.
The authority will allow building-plan approval after payment of 25% of the total price. Buyers who make full payment within 30 days will be eligible for a 5% rebate, while payments made in US dollars will qualify for an additional 5% rebate, according to the auction details. Overseas participants can obtain auction tokens at least one day before the auction and make payments through Roshan Digital Accounts or local banking channels.

The CDA has also stated that it will facilitate independent access roads for the hotel sites, along with the relocation of electricity lines, sewerage upgrades and other related infrastructure works. The auction is part of the CDA’s process for allocating designated hotel sites in the capital through open bidding.
