The project, which was initiated in 1989, remained delayed for several years due to land possession and acquisition-related challenges. CDA has now cleared major hurdles by recovering more than 1,000 kanals of acquired land, allowing development work to move forward.
The authority is focusing on completing essential infrastructure, including roads, municipal services and other civic facilities, to make the sector ready for future residents. CDA officials have also emphasised resolving remaining issues with affected landowners to ensure uninterrupted progress.
