Bahawalpur: The Cholistan Development Authority (CDA) has retrieved 800 acres of state land in several villages from the illegal occupation of land-grabbers.
According to a news source, the land had been in the illegal possession of land-grabbers for many years and they were cultivating the land, allegedly with support from influential people. The news source reported further that CDA Managing Director Mr Naeem Bokhari had ordered an operation against illegal occupation of land in the city.
The CDA’s raiding team vacated the land and also seized the illegal occupants’ agricultural machinery.
