The commissioner conducted a detailed review of two major projects: the 16-kilometre Syphon-to-Railway Bridge project and the 9-kilometre Railway Bridge-to-M-2 project. She directed the Lahore district administration to ensure proper management of revenue matters along the River Ravi stretch from the Railway Bridge to M-2.
Commissioner Marryam Khan also instructed assistant commissioners to take strict legal action, under a defined strategy, against illegal sand extraction without valid permits. Emphasising the long-term importance of RUDA initiatives, she said the district administration was extending full support to all ongoing projects.
She appreciated the efforts of the district administrations of Lahore and Sheikhupura, noting that RUDA and Central Business District (CBD) projects were among the most significant development initiatives. She added that all relevant administrative departments remained in close coordination to ensure timely and effective execution of these projects.
