Islamabad: The Executive Director of CPEC’s Centre of Excellence, Doctor Shahid Rashid stated that this infrastructural mega-project is a game-changer for the region, according to a news source. He added that this project will give job opportunities to the youth, improve Pakistan’s economy, and help it gain a regional stronghold. After the 7th meeting of the Joint Cooperation Committee, this project was expected to reach 62bn dollars, and by 2030, the amount is slated to reach 100bn dollars, of which this 29bn dollar fund is a part of. This information was imparted in a briefing at the CPEC Centre of Excellence, where participants were also given a tour of the facilities and an overview of different projects under the CPEC umbrella.
