This block features residential plots of 5, 7, and 10 marlas. The developer has handed over possession for 7 and 10-marla plots and possession for the 5-marla category will be granted sooner rather than later.
Obviously, I would suggest investors who are the lookout for good returns in the short term to consider these 5-marla plots. Please note that the current market price of these plots ranges from PKR 2,500,000 to PKR 3,000,000.
According to Zain Ul Abideen of Property Gate, possession for the plots in question will be given within 2 months. This means you can expect a price hike of up to PKR 400,000 or even more after possession.I have also learnt that the development work is being carried out at a good pace in the block.
Five-marla plots have recently been launched in Block C of Sector M-7 on instalments. The instalment plan, spread over 2.5 years, is as follows:

Firstly, the expansion of Raiwind Road is already on the cards. The completion of the project will boost prices in Lake City.
Secondly, the development of another access road to Lake City is underway and it will provide an easy approach to the society from Khayaban-e-Jinnah. According to a source, the road project will be completed within 3 to 4 months, which will be beneficial for the society.
Furthermore, the Lahore Ring Road will have an interchange at Adda Plot on Raiwind Road. This development will also become a catalyst for price surges in Lake City.
And last, but certainly not the least, the society will have its own power plant to ensure round-the-clock provision of electricity to its residents.
So from where I see Lake City, it will prove to be one of the best housing communities in southern Lahore both for investment as well as living purposes. Even then, I would suggest you do your homework before taking any investment decisions.
