Islamabad: Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has pitched Pakistan’s major motorway projects to Saudi investors, highlighting them as commercially viable opportunities during a meeting with a high-level Saudi delegation.
According to an official statement, discussions were held with Saudi Pakistan Joint Business Council Chairman Prince Mansour bin Muhammad Al Saud, who expressed strong interest in Pakistan’s expanding infrastructure sector.
During the meeting, Aleem Khan invited Saudi investors to participate in key motorway projects, including the M6 Sukkur-Hyderabad, M10 Karachi Port and M13 Kharian-Rawalpindi corridors. He described these routes as strategically important and commercially attractive, with strong potential to support regional trade and connectivity.

The minister said Pakistan’s expanding road network offers significant investment opportunities and assured the delegation that Saudi investors would be provided with viable and structured investment models to facilitate participation in infrastructure development.
Prince Mansour reaffirmed that the Saudi Business Council is well-positioned to engage in Pakistan’s communications and infrastructure sectors. He also expressed optimism over the outcomes of his visit and assured full cooperation in exploring investment avenues.
Both sides underscored the long-standing fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and expressed interest in deepening collaboration in infrastructure and development projects.
The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts by Pakistan to attract foreign investment in large-scale transport and infrastructure projects aimed at improving regional connectivity and economic activity.
