Lahore: The Lahore Parking Company has announced a significant expansion of its automated parking system, with plans to digitize 10 additional parking sites across the city. This initiative follows the successful implementation of smart systems at Liberty Market and Barkat Market, which have shown improved efficiency and transparency.
Under the new plan, the traditional paper slip system will be replaced by digital solutions at locations including Children’s Hospital, Main Market Gulberg, Hall Road, Bhandara Center, Mall Road, Nila Gumbad, Johar Town, Iqbal Town, Model Town, and Empress Market.

To support this transition, 100 new thermal printers will be procured, and parking staff at these sites will be equipped with handheld devices connected to a central dashboard. This setup will enable real-time monitoring and help reduce manual errors and potential revenue leakages.
According to officials, the tender for the procurement of new equipment will be floated soon. The Lahore Parking Company believes that the automation of these sites will significantly modernize the city’s parking management, improve user experience, and enhance overall operational transparency.
