Lahore: The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hunarmand Punjab to establish a new e-Rozgaar Centre in Lahore under the upgraded e-Rozgaar 2.0 initiative.
The collaboration aims to enhance youth employability and promote digital entrepreneurship by offering training in freelancing and other high-demand digital skills. The new centre will serve as a key platform for young individuals to gain the expertise needed to earn sustainable incomes through online work.

The MoU was signed by PITB Director General e-Governance Sajid Latif and Hunarmand Punjab CEO M Imran. PITB Director Skills Development Ahmad Islam Syan, Hunarmand Punjab COO Engr Waqar Rafiq, and CTO Engr Umair Iftikhar were also present at the ceremony.
The e-Rozgaar 2.0 programme is the next phase of PITB’s flagship initiative, which has already trained thousands of youth across Punjab. The upgraded version expands the programme’s outreach by partnering with public and private educational and vocational institutions to make digital skills training more accessible and inclusive.
