Layyah: Land has been selected by the Punjab Government for a 200-bed mother and child healthcare hospital, according to a news report. This land lies opposite the Police Lines on Layyah-Karor Road and spans over 200 kanals.
This was revealed by Special Assistant to Chief Minister Syed Rafaqat Ali Gilani and has been approved by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. He added that the project would cost PKR 1 billion, out of which PKR 15 million has initially been allocated in this fiscal year’s budget. The district administration has been directed to find a suitable location for this project.
