Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Vice Chairman (VC) S M Imran has issued directions to provide LDA City allottees with their respective allocation letters – a news source reported. Following the project ballot, some of these recipients had not been issued their allocation letters; with this instruction being geared to address this concern.
So far, two ballots have been held for LDA City: one in November 2019, when more than 9000 file owners were allotted their plots in the project’s Jinnah Sector compound; and another in February 2020. The third ballot was supposed to be held in April 2020, but this had to be delayed due to the country’s coronavirus lockdown.
Reportedly, the LDA VC had received complaints that some of the LDA City allottees from the previous ballot were yet to have their allocation letters issued, so he instructed the LDA Directorate concerned to issue the letters as soon as possible.
