Islamabad: The federal government plans to extend the Murree Expressway (N-75) by 70 kilometres to Muzaffarabad, linking Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) with Pakistan’s motorway and expressway network.
The announcement was made by Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan while chairing a high-level meeting of the National Highway Authority (NHA) to review infrastructure priorities for the current fiscal year.
Khan said the Murree-Muzaffarabad Expressway would provide residents of AJK with a modern, high-speed and safer road link, improving regional connectivity and bringing the area into the country’s broader motorway network.
