Islamabad: The National Highway Authority has so far retrieved 2,665 marlas of land from illegal occupation, reported a news source. The estimated worth of the land is PKR 1,158 million.
The authority is also working effectively to impose Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Clean and Green Pakistan initiative. Furthermore, the NHA is also busy cleaning up its road network spread throughout the country, which is in addition to removing wild bushes and planting evergreen trees.
In the meanwhile, an operation against encroachments set up along NHA right of way on all national highways is also underway.
