On a month-on-month basis, IT exports rose 2.42% from USD 413 million in March 2026, marking another consecutive month where export earnings remained above the USD 400 million threshold.

Officials noted that the IT and services sector remains one of Pakistan’s fastest-growing export segments, driven by sustained global demand for software development, freelancing, cloud services, and business process outsourcing.
The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication said Pakistan has already surpassed its total IT export earnings from FY2024–25 within the first 10 months of the current fiscal year.
Industry observers attributed the growth to an expanding base of export-oriented tech firms, improved digital payment infrastructure, and increased international client engagement for Pakistani startups and software houses.
