Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Tariq Murtaza on Monday stated that the civic agency was working on a mobile application in a bid to help the citizens learn about approved housing schemes and authorised layout plans, a news source reported. He expressed his views on the matter during a visit to the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) where he held a meeting with RCCI President Muhammad Nasir Mirza.
The RDA chairman stated that the development authority had updated its website to prevent fraudulent practices seen in property sale and purchase and to inform investors about illegal housing schemes in the city.
Murtaza assured the chamber representatives that the administration was working to facilitate investors and devising plans to create investor-friendly atmosphere to ensure Rawalpindi’s economic growth.
Meanwhile, Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab for Tourism and Chairman Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi Asif Mehmood in his meeting with President RCCI stated that the city would be beautified under the ‘Glorious Rawalpindi’ project.
