Multan: Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan on Thursday visited Multan Avenue to review the ongoing development work and assess the progress of the project.
During the visit, officials briefed the commissioner on the current status and upcoming targets of the scheme. The Superintending Engineer (Highways) informed him that formal carpeting of the road is scheduled to begin within a week.
The commissioner directed that the project must be completed strictly within the stipulated timeline, emphasising that there should be no compromise on quality. He also instructed officers to closely monitor construction materials and further accelerate the pace of work to ensure optimal utilisation of available resources.

Highlighting the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Aamir Karim Khan said that providing modern and high-quality travel facilities to citizens remains a top priority of the Punjab government. He instructed relevant officers to conduct regular site inspections and submit weekly progress reports to maintain transparency and accountability.
Executive Engineer Haider Ali and SDO Fatima were also present during the visit. The commissioner’s instructions aim to ensure the Multan Avenue project meets its deadlines while adhering to quality standards, providing citizens with improved road infrastructure in the city.
