Murree: The district administration in Murree has finalised special arrangements to manage an expected surge of tourists during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha holidays, introducing traffic management measures and restrictions to ensure public safety and smooth flow of traffic.
According to officials, Section 144 has been imposed across the hill station throughout the Eid holidays. The decision has been taken to maintain law and order, regulate traffic movement, and prevent any untoward incidents amid heavy tourist inflow from across the country.
The administration has also set up facilitation centres at key locations in Murree to assist visitors, provide guidance, and help manage travel-related issues during the busy holiday period.

More than 200 traffic wardens will be deployed across the city to manage vehicular movement and reduce congestion on major roads and tourist routes.
As part of the arrangements, authorities have also restricted the entry of bachelor tourists to Mall Road during Eid holidays. The step has been taken to ensure a more secure and family-friendly environment for visitors at one of Murree’s busiest tourist spots.
Officials have urged tourists to cooperate with local administration, follow traffic advisories, and observe all restrictions to ensure a safe and orderly holiday experience in the hill station during Eidul Azha.
