Quetta: According to a news report, a man was awarded five years imprisonment and a fine of PKR 9.2 million in a fake housing scheme case on Monday. His co-accused was sentenced to three years in prison and a fine of PKR 900,000.
According to NAB, the accused had set up a fake housing scheme on Brewery Road in Quetta by the name of Gulshan Hassan Housing Scheme. The accused had sold plots and collected a large amount of money from the locals, but did not hand over the land. The Accountability Court Judge made this decision based on the findings of the NAB and handed out the sentences to the two accused.
