@Qayyum, I read that news the other day as well, CDA acquired 1200-Kanals in Rawat area and handed it over to DHA in return for 700 developed plots in Zone-V.
Can you provide us with any more details that you might know about? Like, is it going to be used in DHA Valley proper or the extensions, and which blocks will it be added to?
CDA handed over 1000s kanal in Rawat area. As per dhai official this land come in old Dha phase 3 (Ex new pindi housing society that is located in Rawat.
Does DHA Valley fall in zone 5? If not then which area?

Great News:
Dhadhoocha dam tender floated. Cost 3 billions 28 crores.Completion 30 Months. Tender will open on 23rd April. 90% land has been acquired. Land demarcation done. There will be picnic spots and other attractions. Will fulfil Pindi water demand.
Now as dam's alternate location decided, DHA valley is set to rise.
As I said before in DHA 2, a 5 Marla costs 75 lacs and that is Pindi. In valley a 5 marla is peanut now and is in Islamabad.
For the friends who asked DHA-5:
DHA-5 is the old commoners town and starts right from Islamabad highway and extends to the sectors A B C D E F G H.
Valley is DHA-6 and located in DHA-2 Extension. Old P & Q sector now renamed.
They are handing over 15,000 developed plot this year.
I think hold the investment now as the main negative was the dam location which has been sorted out.

On the last bits some factual corrections.
- Re: Dam. The nation still awaits where did that Dam Fund go that was collected not so long ago? and who did so?
- You are much more informed than me, real issue of Valley has never been the Dam, the real issue has been DHA, BT, HRL all minting some quick money and no one taking responsibility when time arrived for Delivery. As a relevant examples just check DHA City and Fizaia KHI. Dam has been most pathetic lame excuse in the name of diverting funds from Valley to more mainstream projects of DH & BT. It's been as simple as that.
- By the way, you will be well aware of who handed Takht Pari forest land to BT... Right? You know the name and which position he holds now in the setup.
- Like him or hate him, Ch. Nisar tighten the screws on MR at the expense of his cronies like Taji Khokhar who would grab an inch of land no matter how much blood shed happens. To date, almost every single P8 dealer curse Ch. Nisar. In P8 and other phases more than half the land of BT has no papers and therefore leased to it's allottees but not conventional ownership...
I will not go into details of BRT etc. as a direct comparison neither I am in any position to try to prove AZ, NS, IK as some angles. All inclusive are players of dirty games and corrupt to the core. Fact remains, projecting IK as some sort of Mahatama while rest all as rotten, with due respect, is innocence at your end...

A balloting of DHA valley was scheduled last month as per different forums. This balloting is delayed due to corona or some other issue?
I agree with Imtiaz ,the issue of the valley was never been Dam location. Even far flung blocks of valley which have nothing to do with dam are still deserted.
AoA, Bhai in coming 2 years the prices of DHA valley will double.
The reason is
Daducha dam will be near completion.

When our Judges are currupt, our Lawyers are currupt, better still mobs, our Politicians are currupt, our Doctors are gangsters, our بیوکریٹس are currupt to the core, the most veteran Anchors are currupt. Our most of religious big names are not only currupt but using Islam for their vested interests: It is very hard to put real estate players under some kind of bench marking?
You know better than me that in property investment, nothing works more than the short time and long time projections provided you have some kind of insight of the players involved, office happenings, inside news from property's big shots, field work ....
BT is worse, DHA is worse...agreed...but at the same time they are still best when placed beside their rivals!
It is fact, sir, Malik Riaz, ganged up with RDA (especially with Punjab govt Baboos), HRL, some retired brass and for good years even with DHA valley decision makers: used dam issue to slow valley's development as money was looted from valley!
Dam was not issue, sir. DHA expressway was and still does to some extent until dam blue prints are in public or in the hands of field draftsmen: where you and me can manage with little help to field guys( sorry to say but when you make a shirt, you need to put buttons!).
Expressway is only 8.1 km made and then mostly Bluebell and some other blocks were made standstill as no one is fool enough to put money in waste.
Whole DHA valley is dependant on the Islamabad highway access and until dam has not been decided, DHA expressway would be on hold and whole valley would be on hold from the investor point of view!
I can safely tell you that most of DHA valley will be handed over within current year and money will flow in to valley. There are big guys want to make picnic places around the dhadhoicha dam.
As I said before, a 5 marla in DHA-2 costs 75 lacs, in Pindi location: a 8 marla in defence, Islamabad, will not be stagnant at 18 lacs or so after dam location is not in doubt!
DHA valley is slow as current entrance is pathetic but once expressway goes around blocks, it will rise like DHA did at the similar stage.
Malik Riaz has been kicked out from valley and DHA ready to mint money selling a city as big as Islamabad.
Talking of Shehbaz, taking south Punjab budget and most of province resources to Lahore, sir, pls do the home work again?
